My service was interrupted on Friday March 22 for non payment. I went online to make a payment on sunday and noticed that my account was more than what I owed RCN.
It was 476.00 total when it should've been only 280.00. Anyway to make a long story short the representative that I spoke to insisted on telling me that the extra cost was for the next month payment. My argument was that how can you bill me if my account is suspended. I am not in a contract.
Anyway after a few harsh words back and forth. I discontinued our conversation only to wake up the next morning ready to pay my bill and now see a total different due amount of 1476.00. I was livid, the incompetent representative discontinued my service.
It took me all of 5 hours to get it straightened out with a supervisor. The worst thing, is that all my important emails are gone because my account was disconnected.
